Game on 24 tirthankar

The 24 Tirthankars are revered figures in Jainism who serve as ford-makers (Tirthankars) guiding souls across the ocean of suffering to Moksha (liberation). Each Tirthankar undergoes five significant life events known as Panch Kalyanak: Chyavana (conception), Janma (birth), Diksha (initiation into asceticism), Kevaljnan (attainment of omniscience), and Nirvan (liberation or death). The first Tirthankar is Shri Rushabhdev, also called Adinath, and the last is Mahavir Swami, who attained Nirvana on the darkest night of the Aaso month, coinciding with Diwali.

The 24 Tirthankars appear in each half time cycle of the universe, which consists of six descending (Avasarpini) and six ascending (Utsarpini) phases. Currently, we are in the fifth phase of the descending cycle, which began with Mahavir's Nirvana and will last for 21,000 years. Each Tirthankar has a unique emblem and place of Nirvan; for example, the 16th Tirthankar, Shantinath, has the deer as his emblem and attained Nirvan at Samet Shikhar.

The Tirthankars' teachings emphasize shedding four types of karmas that obscure knowledge and perception, leading to liberation. Their lives and teachings are celebrated and studied extensively, as seen in various Jain texts and biographies, including detailed accounts of Mahavir Swami's life and spiritual journey.
